  • Uniform for World Championships

    Please note that the information in the June vetrun is incorrect. At World Championships the Australian uniform must be worn, NOT the club uniform. Samples are available to try on from Lynne Schickert every Sunday. Once you have determined your size then order the uniform from the AWA website

  • Winter throws competition

    Lindsey Glass has set up a schedule of weekend winter throws competitions at WAAS and Bunbury. All members are welcome. There is no entry fee, but normal WAAS entry costs will apply. 2016 Winter Throws Competitions

  • RRC/RWC results

    Congratulations to our trophy winners, Clare Wardle and Kim Thomas running, Karyn Tolardo and John McDonagh walking. Full results can be found under the Road Results tab, special events Note that trophies, medals and certificates for RRC/RWC will be presented on 24th July, after the run, in the marathon club rooms  

  • ECAC lights

    Canning Council have reversed an earlier decision and now will not be charging us for lights on Thursday evenings. Hence the fees will revert to $3 for members and $5 for visitors.

  • World Record for Bernadette

    Bernadette Benson has set a new World Record for distance run by a woman in 12 hours on a treadmill. She ran around 128km. Bernadette was raising money for the Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation
