Dave Wyatt will be unable to hold his regular coaching session on Tuesday 23rd May. This does not preclude jumpers from holding a competition starting at 6:30
If athletes feel they need the coaching that week, Dave will be available to coach them between 4pmand 5pm at WAAS on Thursday 25th May.

Four chances to win the Handicap Trophy
Members need only to complete four handicap runs to have a tilt at this year’s Handicap Trophy – and there are just four events left on the calendar.
Right now only seven members have made two runs; 31 have completed just one.
So the Trophy is wide open!
If you have not taken part in a handicap run this season, to complete the required four the 10km on Sunday May 14 at Aquinas is a must.
The safety of members at club events is of primary concern to the committee.
We have prepared Risk Management Plans for our WAAS and ECAC events and these are posted on the ‘Our Club’ tab. Members attending these events are requested to make themselves familiar with the plan.
Primary responsibility for ensuring the plans are implemented rests with Campbell at WAAS and Carol at ECAC.
Darwin Team Captain
We are delighted to see that 73 MAWA athletes have entered the National Championships in Darwin.
The Committee have appointed Campbell Till as Team Captain.
We will not be emailing everyone with general announcements, so keep an eye on the website. Campbell will have a list of your mobile phone numbers and email addresses in case he needs to contact you specifically.
Campbell can be reached on email@example.com or 0419 749 440
Good luck to everyone with your races – we are sure MAWA will collect an impressive haul of medals as we always do.
