The new vetrun magazine is now available. Head to the Magazines Tag to download the high or low res version.
WAAS will re-open for training under normal hours from Wednesday 27th May.
There will be some special rules and there may be limitations on numbers. These are not yet defined, so before going make sure you check on the VenuesWest website.
Please see this note from WMA President Margit Jungmann:

Congratulations to MAWA Member Dave Scott who has been awarded the honour of ANZAC of year! Also famous for his bugling – see Vetrun Extra for article!
I would like to personally thank the 63 members who donated their State Championship entry fees to the club rather than request a refund.
This raised around $2500 which roughly matched our unrecoverable costs, mainly in printing the programme.
Run Gallipoli – Solo!
In Vetrun Extra April 18 Mark Dawson has written his suggestion for a safe and respectful way members can mark Anzac Day on Saturday April 25 – by making solo or duo runs after the driveway dawn service (instead of the Gallipoli Run which was to have been on 19 April).
Hit the Vetrun Extra link for details.
Congratulations to our WA recipients:
Paul Jeffery has won the Multi Events trophy for his World Record M45 Decathlon performance of 7867 points
Bob Schickert has been inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame as Administrator

As we enter this period with no club events the committee feel it is important that we keep in touch with our fellow athletes. How are you keeping fit, and what interesting is happening in your life.
To facilitate this the club has introduced two initiatives:
1. Vic will be maintaining a ‘Vetrun Extra’ page on the website, reached from a button on the home page. This will contain member stories and relevant items. Please send material for this page directly to Vic
2. We will reinvigorate the MAWA Closed Facebook page. To join the community contact Jen, (email@example.com), or Silke, (Peglowsilke@hotmail.com), to get your name added to the group. Post anything you think might be of interest, and generate some lively debate.
The Prime Minister’s statement this evening made it clear that it is now not ok for a group of 10 or more to congregate even in an open space.
MAWA is therefore cancelling our Tuesday and Thursday track meets with immediate effect.
