Records set in 2013
2013 was another great year for MAWA record-breakers, with 2 World and 15 Australian records in addition to the numerous State records.
Club statistician Barbara Blurton has compiled the 2013 list, and in each case included the previous record. Take a look. Records set in 2013
Electronic timing requirements for records
Please be aware that for Masters World Records, electronic timing is now mandatory for all distances 800m and below, plus hurdles. A revised application form is now on the WMA website.
It is probable that this rule will also be adopted for Australian Masters Records
Perth Hills bushfire
We know that a number of club members live in the area directly impacted by the recent devastating fire.
The club wishes them all well as they recover from the disaster. If members want to help there are a number of appeals, asking for both money and goods to be donated.
Online entry to the State Championships is now open, and this is our preferred entry method. A paper entry form can be downloaded, but please allow plenty of time for the post. Please read the information note carefully as there are significant changes to the programme from previous years
