The Mattagarup Run on September 22 will be organised by Committee members Richard Blurton, Paul Hughes and Carol Bowman, in the absence of a race director. All helpers who have nominated for this run should contact Richard or Paul before the run and they will appreciate help from any other members on the day. The course will differ from the published map. The 10K will start at Burswood, go over the Windan Bridge, up the river towards Maylands, past Bardon Park to 5K and return. There will be a suitable turn around the 2.5km mark for the shorter distance.
If no race director can be found for this and other Sunday runs on next year’s program, the Club will either have to revert to group jogs, or will not be able to organise a run each week. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen!
