The Road Running Championship (RRC) was born from the close relationship our founding members had with the Marathon Club. The concept was to run three long races on the traditional marathon route as training for the Perth Marathon in June.
These two trophies are for the winners (male and female) of the overall 50km Road Running Championship.
The trophies are awarded for cumulative times over the three races. To be eligible, all three events; the RRC 10k (Weir Run), 15k & 25k, must be completed. Over time the success of the RRC has seen a concurrent short distance event developed.
