HANDICAP TROPHY
Richard Danks has worked with the committee to make the handicap trophy both fairer and more competitive. The 2013/14 trophy was tightly contested – the winner will be announced and the trophy presented at next week’s Weir Run.
The membership year and the timing of the annual Sunday Run programme has changed, and logic says that the events comprising the handicap trophy should coincide with the programme.
To achieve this there will be a shortened 2014 Handicap Trophy, then a 2015 Trophy that covers all the events in 2015.
So the 5 events in the 2014 Trophy will be Aquinas, Sharks, City Rail, Cliff Bould and Canning Caper. The Trophy will be presented at a Sunday run in January
