Congratulations to Zane Walsh for taking out the men’s trophy, just pipping Scott Chambers who actually posted a faster time than last year. Five of the men’s finishers were 50k first timers.

Clare Wardle takes out the women’s trophy with a similar time to last year. Tegan Durbridge, Crystal Glossop and Noels Treen all beat last year’s times and there were 4 women first timers.

John McDonagh takes out the long walk event with a time 25 seconds better than last year. In a very tight finish Melissa Lewis just got the better of Fiona van Heerwaarden to take the women’s trophy.

The short events were poorly supported this year. Ross Keane improved his second place of last year to take the men’s run trophy while Margaret Saunders wins the women’s.

Only Judy Saunders completed the short walk event.

There were no RRC/RWC milestones this year.
