Stan Jones, Australian Masters medalist in racewalking events, passed away Monday evening at age 90. He was the 10th Australian centurion (100 miles in under 24 hours) in 1975, and still had 20km walk times in his 60s under 2 hours. He was a WWII SAS veteran and a 1948 Olympic Marathoner. There are 2 changes to the published WAAS programme: On 12th January there is insufficient time for a 3k, a 2k steeple and a 3k steeple. Therefore there will be no 3k, (unless there are no takers for the 3k steeple) WAAS is closed on Australia Day, so there will be no meet that Tuesday
