With the World Championships coming up in Lyon and ECAC closed for re-surfacing, we will hold a Tuesday track meeting at WAAS through to the end of July. For those of you going to compete at the AMA Track & Field Championships in Sydney please note our Team Manager for MAWA will be Nick Miletic.

As most of you know some bad weather is forecast for Saturday. We do plan to carry out the programme as scheduled, but will have to temporarily suspend if lightning is in the vicinity. With the current forecast, Sunday should not be impacted.

3 more records were set last night at the State Championship steeplechase event. Marg Saunders and Irwin Barrett-Lennard bettered their own records and Kristy Devereux set a new W30 record.

Note that Ern Clark track will now be closed until 1st July. There will be a winter programme at WAAS through to the point when our athletes are departing for the World Championships in Lyon.
