Byrony World Record
After a very protracted period, Byrony Glass’s 18.02m Weight Throw from last February has been ratified as a World Record. Thanks are due to MAWA and AMA Statisticians for persevering with this claim through the WMA Records Committee. Well done Byrony.

MAWA promotion at parkrun
MAWA will have a table at the 8th February Claisebrook parkrun to promote the club. The run starts at Claisebrook Cove at 8am. This initiative is being led by Carol Bowman. Please come along and help Carol talk to parkrun competitors about what membership of MAWA can offer them.
