Yesterday the Woodbridge cycle path was completely flooded and the park closed. It is likely that the water will recede and we will be ok on Sunday. However keep an eye on the website as we will place a post if we have to cancel the run

It is with sadness we report the passing of Derry Foley. Derry was a fine sprinter. He would always lament his lack of “wind”. A true fast twitch man. He competed in the Perth Worlds in the M85 100m and jumps, gaining an Australian record in the 4 x 100m. His jump records have lasted…

The entry form is now on the website right sidebar. This year we are accepting online entries only, consistent with the practice at World and National Championships. If members have difficulty with the online process, they should ask a friend or relative to help or do it for them. Any problems, contact Barbara at vetrunners@iinet.net.au

Note that with the new affiliation arrangements, all MAWA members are automatically registered with AWA, so no longer have to do a separate registration if they want to compete at AWA events. However, event entry fees are still payable
