Athletics West is holding the 2021 Night of Five at the Athletics Stadium on Wednesday 2nd June. There will be a series of 5km track races as well as a 3km and a 1km for Juniors. For more information and to register go to Athletics West

There will be a judged 2000m track walk after completion of the other events at ECAC on 27th May. There are Australian records for this unusual event.

Following last night’s announcement by the Premier, all future MAWA events will proceed as normal.

Based on current Government covid rules the following will apply: ECAC Thursday 29th This will go ahead but as this is a venue only 20 are permitted. We will not allow visitors and based on the past two weeks we will stay under the 20. As a last resort distance runners can warm up outside…

Due to the new lockdown the Sunday Run at Bold Park and the Monday training at ECAC are both cancelled.

A smaller entry than usual enjoyed perfect conditions for a competitive and enjoyable race. Congratulations to John Fisher for winning the trophy. See the results.
