  • WAAS re-opening

    WAAS will re-open for training under normal hours from Wednesday 27th May. There will be some special rules and there may be limitations on numbers. These are not yet defined, so before going make sure you check on the VenuesWest website.

    I would like to personally thank the 63 members who donated their State Championship entry fees to the club rather than request a refund. This raised around $2500 which roughly matched our unrecoverable costs, mainly in printing the programme. Richard

    The Prime Minister’s statement this evening made it clear that it is now not ok for a group of 10 or more to congregate even in an open space. MAWA is therefore cancelling our Tuesday and Thursday track meets with immediate effect.
