Vic loved his running and he was a very keen photographer. He took many photos of club members in action and distributed them to the members. He was also very interested in taking photos of wild flowers.

Vic was given club number 65 and became a very regular Sunday runner for many years. Vic and wife Jacqui, club number 83 and a race walker, were race directors for a club run from Sloan’s Reserve in Leda and there was always a nice morning tea. The run went through the bush down to the rail line. There is very little bush there now. It was a family affair for the Beaumonts with their children helping. Son Simon was one of the helpers. Being a well known Perth radio personality Simon has also assisted in commentating at some MAWA events.

Jacqui was the club morning tea organiser for many years. Both Vic and Jacqui were awarded club life membership for their service.

Vic and Jacqui attended the Safety Bay in November 2021. Health had stopped them from competing. They were made very welcome by club members.

Vic’s contribution and involvement with the club over many years is appreciated.
